On January 31st on Zoom, at 2PM, COPE is holding a special constitutional meeting to set the direction on constitution and by-law amendments forwarded by the Policy and Constitution Committee.

The executive has endorsed consideration of these amendments, but would like the membership to decide whether all, some, or none, are the right direction for the party.

Each amendment requires a 2/3 majority to pass.

These amendments are intended to:

• Strengthen the Class Politics of the Constitution (1)
• Improve the Nomination Process (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8)
• Limit the Size of the Executive to 15 (9, 10, 11)
• Make procedural adjustments at the Executive (12, 13, 14 and 15)
