We have only 4 more weeks to build an incredible movement toward electing Vancouver activists into power. We can spread the word to thousands of people and collect their support for rent control at West End Car Free Day!

Time: Sunday September 25th, 2022, 11am-7pm

Location: One Denman between Davie & Robson (exact location TBD)

Shifts:

11am Transportation & Set Up 

12-2pm Canvassing 

2-4pm Canvassing 

4-6pm Canvassing 

6-7pm Tear Down & Transportation

Transportation & Set Up Crew: Folks with vehicles who can help load and transport materials from COPE's storage spot (268 Keefer St.) at 11am in order to get us there to start setting up by 11:30

Set Up Crew: Loading out material from the Transport Crew & setting up the tent and table in our spot to be fully set up by 12pm

Canvassing Crew: Folks who will sign up for shifts learn and train others in grassroots organizing techniques by collecting signatures for COPE's petition for RENT CONTROL! (Training provided by COPE Canvassing Leads)

Tear Down & Transportation Crew: Folks with vehicles who will help tear down and transport materials back to the COPE storage spot (268 Keefer St.) at 7pm
